Have Breakup Baggage? You Can Sell Your Ex's Stuff Here

You've scrubbed your ex out of existence. You've snipped his face from every photo in your albums, you've updated your relationship status to "single," and you've even got a hot date scheduled for tomorrow night. The only thing left is the question of what to do with his crap he's yet to pick up from your place. Sure, it might be satisfying to have a bonfire in his honor, but a new website called Never Liked It Anyway would rather you sell it—and dish on the breakup details while you're at it.

breakup-sell-ex-stuff

For each listing, you describe what you're selling—at ready-to-wash-this-man-out-of-your-hair, "breakup prices" of course—then offer shoppers two other relationship tidbits: Why you're selling it and what your "bounce back" plan is.

Some people are selling their own goods, rather than their ex's, as a way to finance a fresh start. Take this woman, who's selling an Ikea bedroom set post-breakup. "He moved out, so I've had to move into a place with a friend," she writes. "I've decided to upgrade all my stuff—the furniture, my clothes, my hair, everything! Here's to a better, brighter 2015!"

On the site, you can find anything from Louis Vuitton scarves, Chanel bags, and (sadly) engagement rings and wedding band sets. One woman rings that with the money she makes off a pink sapphire ring, gifted from her ex, she plans on taking her new boyfriend out for a night on the town. You go, girl!

Would you ever list your ex's stuff, or things he'd bought you, on a site like this? What did you do with those things after your last breakup?
